A Few Reminders

Thank you to those who were able to attend the Booster Club Meeting last night! We had a wonderful turnout! 73 people signed in! We are lucky enough to get to hold our meetings in the newly renovated film room! It is safe to say it is the best in the state! *The Fall Sports Meeting will be held August 21 6pm in the Concert Hall. This is a mandatory meeting our Athletic department puts on. Please attend.*

Concessions

We have 28 slots that still need to be filled on our Concession sign up. The only slots left are Varsity. So we are looking at you Freshman and JV Parents! Please sign up ASAP. Remember we are asking that every player is represented on the sign up. There is a slot to put his name so we can keep track. Busy Week Ahead

Reserved Season Seat Back Ticket Sales: AUGUST 12: Season tickets will go on sale starting Monday, August 12th at 12:00 noon and sales will continue Monday's thru Thursday's from 8am-2pm .  You can buy them from Annette Castillo in the Athletic Office at the school.  Tickets will once again be $35 for the season (5 Varsity Home Games) cash or check made payable to CHS Athletics. Also available is the All Sports pass that grant general admission to ALL 19/20 regular season sporting events for $65  Parking Passes to be sold: Front row parking passes for Varsity games are on sale.  See Stacy Salinas in the Activities Office at the school to purchase.  They are $40 cash or check only.   Parking passes are valid through playoffs.  Fun tailgating opportunities and no searching for parking it is worth every penny. ***There is a possibility of both Annette Castillo and Stacy Salinas being at our Tuesday night Booster Club meeting so come prepared to get your season tickets and parking passes!*** AUGUST 13: First Booster Club Meeting of the Fall.  6:00pm in the Field-house.  Come and find a way to get involved.  Get all the latest information for the season.  AUGUST 13: Our online Fan Store closes the 13th. HERE WE GO!!!!!

August 5: Each player will report back on AUGUST 5. This date will also kick off our Concession Gatorade Drive...We are asking EACH PLAYER to report that Monday with a case of Gatorade.  If possible please buy the RED, WHITE and BLUE 20oz bottles. Sams Club has them for 12.98!  

August 9: Team and Individual pictures will be on August 9.  Packets will come home with your player either the 5th or 6th so be on the lookout!

August 13: First Fall Booster Club Meeting.  Field House 6:00 pm!  BE THERE, come find out how you can get involved!  

Calling all MOMS!!!

August 16: One of our favorite Storm Traditions MOM'S NIGHT will be held Friday, August 16th at 6:00 pm at Lightning Bolt Stadium.  Ladies come dressed comfortable with shoes you can "play" in!  Our boys take us through a little bit of what they have been up to all summer!  It is a great way to hang out with our boys and meet other moms and even learn the Cleveland Shuffle! You will be fed and even get a Mother/Son photo to remember the occasion!  I mean those shots are slim to none these days am I right?!?!?!

Gentlemen we have not forgotten about you!!!  This year we are going to let you join in on the fun!!!(well sorta) You get to come help spoil our Moms!!!  Coach is asking the Dads to step in this year and help with set up, serving the meal and clean up!  We are also looking to you for some help hanging the Banners!  We should have a good amount ready to be hung that night in preparation for the season opener!  We know Storm Dads are the best there are so PLEASE show up and make your presence known!  

Banners

As mentioned above the first date we need volunteers to help hang banners will be during Mom's night August 16th.  We also need several standing volunteers to come early to games and check the banners.  The New Mexico wind sometimes does a number on them and we want our sponsors proud to hang their logo in our Stadium.  There will be zip ties provided we just need a consistent set of people to help keep them looking their best!  Please reach out if we can count on you!!! 

Tons of Thanks

Special Shout out to the volunteers who helped cook, wrap and serve about 600 hot dogs during the 7v7 we hosted this month!!  You all were so awesome to step up and help! 

Also a huge thank you to Gabe Ortega for heading up our golf tournament this year and all of you that helped make it a success! Everyone had a great time and some much needed funds were raised for our kids! THANK YOU!!!!!

Be on the lookout for sign up genius and get your dates locked in for volunteering for Concession!  Remember every players family is responsible for at least one shift.  You do not have to work while your son is playing pick to volunteer for a one of the other teams games or to cook and wrap hot dogs before a game! It is as simple as that!  Coach will be filling in the empty spots with players so lets all step up and do our part they work hard enough and our role as "Boosters" is to support them!
